NORC Talks Community Forum

Building Stronger Communities for Aging in Place

Welcome to the NORC Talks Community Forum!

This is an online space for older adults interested in creating aging in place networks to connect and share with their community.

As part of the community forum, you'll be able to:
  • Learn how to initiate and strengthen local aging in place networks in your community.
  • Gain insights from diverse aging in place initiatives and big ideas shared by fellow community members.
  • Foster meaningful connections and receive ongoing peer support from other older adults dedicated to aging in place.
  • Access resources and tools created by the NORC Innovation Centre to support your aging in place initiative.

Please note: This forum is a space for older adults interested in developing their own aging in place initiative. It is not a space for for-profit service providers or solicitation of any services.

This virtual space has been created by the NORC Innovation Centre in collaboration with members of the NORC Talks Community.

The NORC Innovation Centre (NIC) is a research and development centre at University Health Network that is dedicated to finding new ways to support older adults living in Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs).

Our focus is on community-driven solutions that strengthen social connections and improve access to care. Together with older adults and partners across Canada, we are committed to shaping a better future for aging.
